Brittany Blackman, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Miss Blackman has been a Registered Nurse for 14 years, specializing in trauma surgery, labor and delivery, and was a travel nurse for 6 years, allowing her to experience and care for many cultures and communities. She loves serving as an active member of Covenant Church, reading, spending quality time with friends and family, scuba diving, movies, and hopes to one day train for a sprint triathlon. Brittany has two Bachelor’s degrees; a BSN in nursing and a BS in psychology with a sociology minor from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor in Belton Texas. Her MSN degree was earned at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor Michigan. She is a member of the Texas Nurse Association (TNA), the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the Texas Nurse Practitioners (TNP). Miss Blackman is also an undergraduate clinical nursing professor. She has taught with The University of San Francisco in California, and Chamberlain University in Irving Texas. Brittany educates students in functional patient care, across different specialties, in the hospital and in the community. Professor Blackman is not only bilingual in French and English, she is a board member with International Allied Missions (IAM), and regularly participates in other medical and Evangelical mission trips all over the world. She specializes in primary care and family practice as an FNP in the Dallas area. Brittany is looking forward to the rewarding moments to assist clients from their lowest levels, to their greatest health potential, medically, spiritually and emotionally from the inside out.
